David Artists

After 30 years of working at the height of the fashion industry alongside outstanding artists in London, David Evans decided to create an agency to represent enthusiastically, fashion-forward-thinkers, to expand their profiles within an infamously competitive field, through a variety of mediums: editorial, film, music videos, campaigns, events, TV, VIP requests and special projects, working with editors, producers, artists and leading visionaries.  Vogue, AnOtherCentrefoldDazedHarper’s BazaarLOVE, NuméroPOP, W MagazineWonderland, Vision, and many more have all benefitted from David Artists’ nonpareil expertise.   Alongside established artists, the agency is also dedicated to providing support to up-and-coming talent who will become the names of the future.

The Brief

To set the visual tone of voice, and emotive feeling of the brand David Artists. from its inception. A deeply caring yet ultra-professional tone needed to be set from day one. Having international and internal experience in this field helped to highlight David Artists’ unique place in a very crowded industry. Alongside this, David represents some of the most successful powerful and creative shoot artists in the world so the site needed to have gravitas not just for his reputation but to echo theirs.

The Result

Jo and Cent Creative team created a logo and website that highlighted the sense of gravitas of Davids's world but still allowed for an intimate experience. As well as looking for a ‘Chanel Style Box of Chocolate’s visual the creative team concentrated on the intuitive nature of the site utilising easy navigation and least amount of clicks to get where needed.

Client Response

“Having known the working world of Jo Phillips and .Cent magazine for over 20 years she was my obvious choice to talk about strategy branding website design and visual language with when I first started my own business.

Jo instinctively understood what my needs were even if at the time I didn’t have the words to describe my needs. and as a Creative whose work trajectory has always been to be a leader and trailblazer so I knew she would bring this to my project.

She initially summed up my visual after first talking as the idea of a black and white Chanel chocolate box, which was a perfect analogy and from this, she and her team worked across the visualisation of the brand and website including logo, web design, navigation and copy colours and tones of voice and ensuring this was across my brand”.

Finally, I think it is fair to say I am so very happy with what .Cent Cretaive did, I love love love all of it and constantly get compliments of how impressive it is, so choosing this team was the absolute right choice.
